Evaluate based on your pet's personality and how long you will be away. Boarding is ideal for longer trips and sociable animals. House Sitting suits anxious pets or large households. Drop-in visits work best for independent pets attached to their own space. Dog Walking is perfect for high-energy dogs who need regular outdoor time. When in doubt — ask us. There is nothing better than a face-to-face conversation for building genuine trust. It is also the best opportunity to see whether the Nester and your pet are a natural fit — and to discuss habits, routines, and any special requirements. If you have a dog, you can take a walk together so the Nester can learn how to handle them on the lead. For boarding, we suggest meeting at the Nester's home so your pet can explore the environment in advance. HappyNest provides a checklist to help you cover every important topic.

As an owner: You may cancel up to 48 hours before the booking starts with no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours incur the full booking fee.

If your sitter cancels: HappyNest will provide a full refund and do everything possible to arrange an alternative.

As a Nester: You may cancel up to 48 hours before the start date. Cancellations within 48 hours — or during the booking itself — require you to help HappyNest find a suitable replacement.

Payment is completed at least 48 hours before the booking begins via WeChat Pay or Alipay. Both the start and end dates are included in the total, regardless of pick-up and drop-off times. Boarding is calculated by the number of nights. HappyNest charges a 25% commission fee.
